Couples & Relationship Therapy in
Round Rock, TX
Does this sound familiar?
You’re caught in an exhausting cycle of the same repetitive arguments. Most of the time you can’t remember what the fight started about!
Your relationships leave you feeling lonely or misunderstood.
Your ignore your own needs to keep the peace.
Your experience with your faith community has left you disillusioned with religion and you’re not sure who or what you can trust anymore.
As a first responder, you feel closed off from your family - like an outsider - and re-entry into family life feels daunting.
You’re sick and tired of feeling…
disconnected from the people closest to you. It is incredibly heavy to watch dysfunctional patterns repeat over and over again, all while suspecting that it CAN be better. You’re weary and dejected from trying to figure things out for yourself, either because you can’t trust anyone, or because you should like you should be able to do this yourself. Your partner, your faith community, or the job have all given and taken from you.
Imagine a world where…
you can feel connected, safe, and known by the people you love. A world where you and your partner stay grounded while you work through differences. A world where you feel secure enough with yourself that you can decide which relationships and systems serve you and which ones to leave behind. A world where you exist as more than just a “servant” and get to love and be loved, to create space for others and take up space as you need it.
Lia Bermudez, LPC
You don’t have to wait for a relationship to reach a breaking point to start making it better. Healing the fractures in your connections—and in how you relate to yourself—simply requires the willingness to begin. If you are ready to shift away from frustration and distance and move toward clarity, mutual respect, and genuine intimacy, I am here to guide you through the work.
This work for me is personal. I know what it’s like to go work through the rigors of marriage, deconstruct and reconstruct a deeply-held faith, and navigate the stressors of being a first responder. My lived experience in each of these realms helps me connect in the therapy room with care and respect for your journey. Reach out today to schedule your initial consultation, and let’s take that first step toward rewriting your story together.
